Mountain Ranch House

Often we have the opportunity to design a structure to set on a larger tract of land than is commonly afforded in a residential development. You will not likely find Mountain Ranch House listed in a design books though here we have a Ranch House style single living level arrangement with local vernacular elements applied. Note the board and batten siding, Stone chimneys and rugged courtyard in a wooded setting. A bit of contrast to a typical Ranch House style home.  Also can be seen,the individuality of the client show through the architecture created. The interior has a flexible, open living arrangement has hints of a mountain vernacular along with Asian and contemporary aspects.

The inside intermingling with outside can be developed for many purposes. Look for the outdoor shower in the slideshow.
