Italian Renaissance

Old World Styles are often a program requirement. Here a Tuscan Villa was the choice of the client for a facade to present to the neighborhood. The setting for this Italian Renaissance project was in Biltmore Forest, just south of Asheville, NC. Note the heavy overhangs and clearstory windows, both allowing for interior daylighting without the solar heat gain. High efficiency mechanical systems and equipment were specified to reduce energy consumption and provide for a green and sustainable future.
